Skiing at MIT has been a tradition since the 1950′s. The team is a vibrant group of student-athletes ranging in experience from seasoned racers to recreational skiers with no previous race experience. All levels are welcome – what matters most is a passion for skiing, having fun, and getting outdoors.

The team races in the USCSA’s MacConnell division in giant slalom and slalom events. We compete in twelve regular season races and vie for team and individual spots at the regional and national level races.

The team spends the month of January training at our home mountain, Waterville Valley, and traveling to other New Hampshire resorts to compete. It’s an action-packed, fun-filled month that’s sure to whip anyone into the best shape of their lives!
